The prophets have emphasized the importance of family daily scripture study.

We have found that with busy family life, it is easy to forget.  This app makes it

easy for you to have daily meaningful scripture study with your children.  It is

oriented towards families of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  We

hope this app will help you set a good habit of scripture reading and that it will

bless your lives like it has blessed ours.

*Scriptures

The scriptures chosen apply directly to the spiritual growth of children.  Scriptures

included in this app are taken from the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine

Covenants, Pearl of Great Price, and The Family: A Proclamation to the World.

Included are 6 months of daily scripture study.

*Photos

Each scripture includes a photo that helps children to understand the concept

being taught and helps to keep them engaged.

*Descriptions

Simple descriptions and questions included with each scripture help the child to

understand its verbiage and help to promote an open discussion within families.

*Timer Alert

This app has a customizable option for you to set a daily timer to remind your

family to read the scriptures.  It has sound options and push notification which

can easily be turned on or off.

Helpful Hints: We have written descriptions for these scriptures to use as an

outline.  You can also explain these scriptures in your own words. Using your

own descriptions can help your children to understand them better on a personal

level.  It can also be helpful to have your children mark these scriptures in their

own books and have them follow along as you read.  We believe that it is

important for children to hear and read the scriptures as they are written followed

by a simple explanation so they can learn how to understand them on their own.
